Road Service Equipment
Skid steer loaders with attachments offer multiple advantages for road maintenance. By swapping out attachments like buckets, milling machines, compactors, and more, skid steer loaders can efficiently perform a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, grading, compaction, and more, boosting work efficiency. Their flexibility allows them to navigate easily in narrow or complex environments, making them ideal for a variety of road maintenance scenarios. Additionally, skid steer loaders are user-friendly and cost-effective, making them an economical and practical choice for highway maintenance.
Vibratory Roller
The skid steer loader is equipped with a vibratory compactor attachment that moves back and forth to compact road surfaces, ditches, and asphalt potholes. The vibratory drum can also be shifted sideways, allowing the compaction rollers to target localized uneven areas such as curbs and corners. The attachment is available in four model sizes: 60-inch, 66-inch, 72-inch, and 84-inch.
Manhole Cover Type Milling Machine
This auxiliary tool is primarily used for removing damaged asphalt pavement near manhole covers on municipal and highway roads. First, open the manhole cover and secure the positioner in the manhole frame. Next, place the positioning axis of the milling machine into the central hole of the positioner. Adjust the cutter’s distance from the asphalt pavement, then start the milling process until it cuts through to the soil layer. Finally, lift the positioning axis, and the positioner, along with the cut pavement section, can be moved forward. This auxiliary tool is primarily used for removing damaged asphalt pavement near manhole covers on municipal and highway roads. Hydraulic Crushing Hammer
Skid steer loaders can be equipped with a hydraulic crushing hammer, ideal for crushing cement and asphalt pavement. This attachment is fast and efficient, with a crushing capacity of up to 20m² per hour. It can also be used for building demolition. Suitable for both highway and municipal applications, the hydraulic crushing hammer comes in four types, tailored to the host model, and offers five types of shovel bars: flat type, tonal type, angular cone type, wedge type, and cone type.
Planing Machine
Skid steer loaders can be configured with a milling machine attachment, available in both standard and high-flow models. Featuring a direct rotary high-torque hydraulic motor, the hydraulic side shift allows the milling machine to mill corners, curbs, and other narrow areas. The milling depth is adjustable, and the machine is easy to maintain. It can efficiently and quickly mill asphalt and concrete surfaces, making it ideal for municipal, road, highway, and airport applications. The standard model is available in three widths: 18 inches (457mm), 24 inches (610mm), and 40 inches (1016mm), with the high-flow model required for larger sizes.
Enclosed Sweeper
Enclosed sweepers are designed for sweeping pavement in highways, municipalities, harbors, plazas, and factory plants. This attachment effectively sweeps dust and waste material in both forward and backward directions. It quickly clears parking lots, sidewalks, docks, and warehouses, and can also be used to evenly spread materials. Available in 72-inch and 84-inch models, the sweeper operates with an efficiency of 1,200 mph and has a bucket capacity of 0.47 L. When paired with a skid steer loader, the enclosed sweeper efficiently clears large milled pavements, forming a highly effective mechanized construction combination.
Wheel Trencher
The skid steer loader, equipped with this attachment, is perfect for laying water pipes, gas pipes, cables, or repairing highways. The disc trencher helps save time and labor by offering greater precision than a crushing hammer. It can accurately cut through asphalt concrete, frozen ground, or wire netting, with a trenching depth of up to 610mm.
